Inaugural winners of the People & Culture Award at the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2022
On Friday 4 November 2022, Electrical and Automation Solutions (EAS) was announced as the inaugural winner of the People & Culture Award at the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
This award recognises businesses that genuinely put their people first – and that’s something we’ve always believed is non-negotiable.
People Are at the Heart of What We Do
One of our core values is, People Matter, and this is at the heart of EAS and how we operate.
Our mission for EAS is that fundamentally people’s lives are better because they’ve been connected to us.
We do this by making sure our customers are consistently blown away by our service and by wholeheartedly investing in our people’s personal, professional, and financial wellbeing as if they were family.
We couldn’t achieve all that we do without the people we’re surrounded by. From our loyal customers who’ve backed us through a few tough years, to our suppliers, mentors, and support crews who help keep the wheels turning – we don’t do this alone.
But at the core of it all is our team.
Our crew shows up every day with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and the grit to tackle whatever challenge is in front of them. They back each other, share knowledge, and step up – both on the tools and behind the scenes – to make sure everyone succeeds.
A Culture We’re Proud Of
This award reflects the culture we work hard to build:
A place where people matter
Where ownership is expected, not avoided
Where teamwork isn’t optional
And where everyone is encouraged to grow, learn, and do better
We’re proud to be recognised for a culture that isn’t just talked about – it’s lived, every day.
